Terms

Last updated: July 10, 2026. These Terms are written for MarginOpsLab's current website and consulting-service model.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms apply to your use of marginopslab.com and related website forms operated by MarginOpsLab, a Shopify and ecommerce revenue optimization consultancy based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

2. Eligibility and permitted use

The website is intended for business users, founders, operators, marketers, and ecommerce teams. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, forms, infrastructure, or admin systems.

You must not submit false information, spam, malicious code, credentials, payment-card details, or sensitive customer data through public forms.

3. Website information and educational content

Articles, checklists, sample audits, pricing descriptions, and other website content are provided for general business and educational purposes. They are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, or professional advice for every situation.

Ecommerce recommendations depend on product category, customer behavior, traffic quality, margins, data quality, technical constraints, and operating context.

4. Consulting and audit services

MarginOpsLab currently offers consulting-led services such as a free product-page snapshot, Revenue Leak Audit, Shopify Growth Sprint, and Monthly Revenue Ops Partner support. Website descriptions are summaries only and do not create a client relationship by themselves.

A client relationship, if any, begins only when scope, fees, deliverables, timing, and payment terms are separately confirmed in writing through a proposal, statement of work, invoice, or other written agreement.

5. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate store, business, analytics, revenue, conversion, AOV, traffic, and goal information when requesting an audit or consulting service.

You are also responsible for your own business decisions, implementation choices, customer communications, legal compliance, privacy obligations, tax treatment, advertising claims, and use of Shopify or other third-party platforms.

6. Proposals, fees, taxes, and payment terms

Any prices shown on the website are offer summaries and may depend on scope, store complexity, catalog size, markets, apps, analytics access, implementation needs, and capacity. Final fees and payment terms should be confirmed separately before paid work begins.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, taxes, platform fees, app fees, payment-processing fees, development costs, advertising spend, and third-party expenses are not included in consulting fees.

7. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms should be confirmed in the applicable proposal, statement of work, invoice, or written agreement. If no separate written terms are agreed, MarginOpsLab will review requests reasonably based on work already performed, reserved capacity, and unrecoverable costs.

Free snapshot requests do not create a paid-service refund obligation.

8. No guaranteed outcomes

MarginOpsLab may provide recommendations, audits, forecasts, benchmarks, examples, priorities, or implementation guidance. These do not guarantee revenue, conversion rate, rankings, profitability, AOV, retention, traffic, sales, or any other business outcome.

Any estimates or benchmarks are informational and depend on assumptions, available evidence, and third-party data. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations.

9. Intellectual property and deliverables

MarginOpsLab owns the website, brand assets, article content, sample audit formats, frameworks, templates, and general know-how unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You retain ownership of materials you provide, such as store URLs, business context, screenshots, analytics exports, product information, and brand materials. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, paid deliverables may be used internally by your business for the purpose for which they were provided, but may not be resold, republished, or presented as your own consulting framework.

10. Confidentiality

If you share non-public business information for an audit or consulting engagement, MarginOpsLab will use it for reviewing, scoping, delivering, and managing the requested service. More detailed confidentiality obligations should be included in a separate written agreement when needed.

Do not submit customer personal data, passwords, API keys, private Shopify credentials, or sensitive financial records through public website forms.

11. Third-party platforms and trademarks

MarginOpsLab may discuss Shopify, ecommerce apps, analytics tools, Cloudflare, Google services, email providers, and other third-party platforms. These platforms are operated by their respective owners and may change their features, pricing, policies, or availability.

Shopify and other third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. MarginOpsLab is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Shopify or any other third-party platform unless a formal relationship is expressly stated.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MarginOpsLab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from website use, reliance on content, or implementation of recommendations.

Where liability cannot be excluded, MarginOpsLab's aggregate liability should be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a separate written agreement or applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Indemnification

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website, inaccurate submissions, violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or implementation of recommendations in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Suspension or termination

MarginOpsLab may suspend or restrict access to website features, forms, or communications if there is suspected spam, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory legal requirements, courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, website use, or MarginOpsLab services.

16. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

MarginOpsLab may update these Terms as the website, services, offers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. These Terms, together with any separate written agreement for paid services, form the relevant agreement for website use and service engagement.

17. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent through the contact form at /contact or by email to bookings@marginopslab.com. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment details, or sensitive customer data through email or public forms.
